Why Won't A Las Vegas Bondsman Work With Me?

    Last updated 11 months ago

My boyfriend was arrested for terrorist threats and his bail has been set at $50,000.  He’s 19 and I’m 20.  We both have jobs and we’ve been dating for the past four months.  I’ve called a bunch of bail bonds companies and no one will work with us.  Why can’t I find someone to help?

When you cosign for someone you’re not only agreeing to pay the bondsman’s fee, you’re also taking full legal responsibility your boyfriend goes to court. If you two break up and he skips town you’ll be liable to pay the full $50,000.  Based on your age and the fact that you’ve been dating for such a short time, the bondsman may not feel that you’re a strong enough signer.  What about his parents? Does he have family in the picture that is willing to help?  If you are able to present an established cosigner who has good credit and/or owns a home this will definitely help with the bail bonds approval.

VEGAS BAIL looks for an answer in EVERY situation. Vegas Bail is your lifeline, so we feel that if we give up, then you have no hope and thats just NOT the Vegas Bail way. We look for ALL ways to get your loved one out of jail. We believe that there is always an option and its our job to present you with ALL the options to help Bail out your loved ones.

CELEBRATE 4TH OF JULY IN VEGAS IN 2016

    Last updated 11 months ago

You might think that Vegas has enough lights in the sky, but the city celebrates the 4th of July every year with spectacular fireworks displays and celebrations, lighting every corner of the Las Vegas Valley. It's also prime pool season in July so the 4th is a great time to hit up one of the city's many pool clubs where the hottest DJs are sure to be spinning.

    4TH OF JULY FIREWORKS

July 4th is all about the fireworks and if you're visiting Las Vegas for the holiday you'll want to know where to see the displays and where to find other all-American entertainment.

Fireworks locations can vary from year to year but typically you'll find them at several locations around town.

The Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower
The hotel will be launching fireworks from their property on July 3 at 9 p.m. The fireworks display by Grucci will launch from various locations including the top of the tower.

    Caesars Palace
Caesars will feature a special fireworks display with live music on Sunday, July 3. The Roman Plaza and Spanish Steps directly in front of Caesars Palace will be transformed for the massive block party which will feature live music, signature cocktails, life size games, patriotic decorations, homemade BBQ specials and more from noon to midnight beginning Friday, July 1 through Sunday, July 3.

    Mandalay Bay
The sky above Mandalay Bay Beach will light up with fireworks accompanied by performances by 311 on July 2 - 3. Guests will be treated to 311's hits, classics and rarities on July 2 & 3. Both shows will be followed by fireworks over the Las Vegas Strip.

    Station Casinos
In honor of Palace Station's 40th anniversary, Station Casinos is hosting a fireworks spectacular on July 1 at 9 p.m.

    Boulder City
For a more small-town 4th of July experience, try Boulder City's Damboree celebration. There's a pancake breakfast, games, a parade, and of course, a large fireworks display at 9 p.m.

    Henderson
The City of Henderson also holds an annual 4th of July celebration with live music, games, activities and a fireworks show at 9 p.m. in Mission Hills Park.

    VIEWING TIPS

For the best view of fireworks in Las Vegas, visit one of the many spots around town that offer views overlooking the Strip and valley. Try Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay, Ghostbar at the Palms or Voodoo Rooftop Nightclub at the Rio. For restaurants with a view, there's Alize at the Palms or the Eiffel Tower Restaurant at Paris.

Another great attraction that will offer plenty of views of the fireworks is the High Rollerobservation wheel at The LINQ. The High Roller will offer special 4th of July packages and will be lit up in red, white and blue for the holiday.

Stay Safe #lasvegas , but if you get caught using those crazy kind of  #fireworks for the #4thofjuly , Or get into any kind of trouble and put in #jail , Then call #VegasBail ,

How Do Domestic Violence Bail Bonds Work in Las Vegas ?

    Last updated 11 months ago

My girlfriend and I got into an argument last night and the police arrested her on domestic violence charges.  The whole thing was just a really big mistake (we both had a little bit too much to drink and wound up in a shouting match over something that, in retrospect, was pretty stupid.) I want to get her out of jail as fast as possible but I have no idea how domestic violence bail bonds work.

Domestic violence bail bonds work the same as other criminal bail bonds.  You’ll need to go through a bail bonds application, agree to cosign for the defendant and you’ll also need to arrange for payment of the 15 % bondsman’s fee.  The only thing that may be different is that your girlfriend might have to see the magistrate before she’s allowed to bail out (this requirement varies from county to county— the bondsman can help you understand how this works.)  If she does need to see a magistrate that’s generally done within 24 hours.  For more information on how domestic violence bail bonds work be sure to contact a local bondsman as quickly as possible.

VEGAS BAIL handles all Domestic Violence cases on a regular basis.

Will The Bondsman Refund My Money If My Charges Get Dropped?

    Last updated 1 year ago

What happens if someone puts up the 15% fee and the defendant’s charges get dropped.  Will we get any of our money back?

The quick answer to this question is “no.”  When you work with a bail bonds company you’ll need to pay a fee that’s set according to state law.  In Nevada that fee is 15%.  This money is considered to be earned in full at the time the defendant gets out of jail and it’s not something that will be refunded in part, or in full, regardless as to whether the case is dismissed, the charges are dropped, the District Attorney declines to pursue the case or if the defendant is found not guilty.  If you signed up for a bail bonds payment plan you’ll need to continue to make payments until your balance is fully resolved.  If you stop making payments your account will be sent to collections and the delinquency will be reported to the three major credit reporting agencies, which will have a negative impact on your credit score.

Things To Keep In Mind If You Get Arrested in Las Vegas

    Last updated 1 year ago

No one likes to think that they could find themselves in a position where they’re being placed into the back of a police car.  If you happen to find yourself on the wrong side of a set of handcuffs, be sure to keep the following things in mind.

You won’t be able to talk your way out of an arrest.  Police and sheriff’s deputies have heard every excuse in the book.  Your best course of action is to cooperate.

You have the right to remain silent.  Use it.  You should absolutely provide basic information when asked, such as your full name, address and date of birth but you’re not required to discuss your case.  Doing so without an attorney present could make matters much, much worse.

Don’t try to make a run for it.  This is guaranteed to get you in trouble and it will lead to additional charges being filed against you, which will cause your bail bonds amount to be higher.

Contact a bondsman right away.  A Nevada bondsman will be able to monitor where you are in the booking process and they’ll be able to ensure that your bail bonds are posted as soon as the jail will allow it.
